CookieGuard Framer Plugin Setup

CookieGuard helps you comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other cookie consent regulations. The Framer plugin handles script installation automatically — you just need your Site ID and API Key from CookieGuard.

1. Log in to your CookieGuard dashboard at cookieguard.co/login
2. Navigate to Sites from the sidebar
3. Click on your website or create a new site
4. Copy the Site ID from the site settings

1. In the CookieGuard dashboard, go to Settings
2. Click on API Keys
3. Create a new API key with a descriptive name (e.g., "Framer Plugin")
4. Copy the generated API key

Keep your API key secure — it provides access to your CookieGuard account.

1. In your CookieGuard dashboard, open your site settings and go to the banner or customization section
2. Update the banner content, button labels, colors, layout, and position to match your brand
3. Preview your changes to confirm the banner appearance works well on desktop and mobile
4. Add or update the links for your Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other required legal pages
5. Save your changes before moving to the Framer installation step

Configure the banner first so the version installed in Framer already reflects your branding and policy links.

1. Open the CookieGuard plugin in Framer
2. Paste your Site ID into the first field
3. Paste your API Key into the second field
4. Click "Install CookieGuard"

The plugin will automatically add the CookieGuard script to your Framer site.
