- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. Basic is free forever: 1 website and 2,000 pageviews a month, with CookieGuard branding on the banner. No credit card needed.
- How does the free trial work?
- Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you don't need a card to start it. When the trial ends you get a short grace period with reminder emails. Add a card to keep the plan; otherwise your account moves to the free Basic plan.
- What counts as a pageview?
- A pageview is counted each time the CookieGuard banner script loads on a page. Bot traffic that doesn't run JavaScript isn't counted. Pageviews reset on the first of every calendar month, and one plan's limit is shared across all its websites.
- What happens if I go over my pageview limit?
- Your banner never switches off, and consent keeps being recorded, so your site stays covered. We'll email you at 80% and 100% of your monthly pageviews. If your websites go over two months in a row, you'll need to move to a plan that fits your traffic before you can edit banners or add websites.
- Can I pay yearly?
- Yes. Switch the toggle above to yearly billing and save up to 17%.
- Can I change or cancel my plan?
- Yes. You can switch plans or move back to the free Basic plan at any time from Billing in your dashboard.
- Do you support IAB TCF or Google's certified CMP requirement?
- No. If your site runs Google AdSense, Ad Manager or AdMob for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Google requires a certified CMP that supports IAB TCF, and CookieGuard isn't the right fit.
- Do you have plans for healthcare sites or high traffic?
- Yes. The Healthcare tier covers Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370, and custom plans cover high-traffic and many-site setups. Both are quoted; contact us for details.
